Just a quick post, as promised, to show the lovely swaps I received on Sunday at Jo's training day. One of the many benefits of being a Stampin' Up demonstrator is getting together with other demonstrators to craft. Another is we get to pre-order goods from up coming catalogues. If you look closely at the swaps I received you may spot some more new goodies from the Summer Mini.
I'm planning on holding an Open House to launch the new Summer Mini in May. I will post details when I finalise them.
I'm putting the final preparations together for the All Day Event on Saturday, so I'll be back later with photos.
Sorry I've been missing for a while I've been busy finishing off the scrapbook I've been making for my daughter's birthday. Well it was her birthday on Thursday and I'm glad to say I finished it and she loved it.
Anyway back to Stampin' Up business. I forgot to post these pictures of the other Easter gifts I made for Lucie and Sean. When I found these chocolate bunny lollies I knew just how I wanted to decorate them. I used the Petal Cone die and the Lattice Embossing folder to make a carrot pop up cover.
Tomorrow I'm going to spend the day crafting with other Stamin' Up Demos at Jo Dumbleton's training day.
As usual we will exchange swaps, It's a great source of inspiration to see what everybody makes. Here is a picture of my swaps.
If you look closely you may see some new goodies, just a "sneaky peak" at some of the loveliness coming in the new Summer Mini. All will be revealed on May 1st.
I will be back soon with the swaps I receive tomorrow.
Well today was my granddaughter's birthday and the Pop Up House card was a big hit, although I was a bit worried when I found out she'd got a card from Molly, her best friend who emigrated to Australia last year LOL.
I thought I would show you the punch art bunny boxes that I made to sell at the Pamper Evening this month. There are two packets of chocolate buttons in each one. I've kept these two back for Lucie and Sean for Easter.
I've seen several examples of these while surfing the web but I got the instructions from a US demo http://www.sunnygirlscraps.com/2011/04 you have to scroll down the page but all the details are there. I really enjoyed making these, especially all the inking, I think it adds a bit of definition.
I'm putting the final plans for my All Day Event on 21st April, if you would like to come please contact me by the 31st March so I can put a kit together for you.
Sorry I haven't posted this week, I took a break from Stampin' Up to work on a personal project. I can't share anything yet, I never know who, if anybody, is reading my blog. LOL
One thing I can share is the birthday card I made for my granddaughter's birthday. She will be 7 on Thursday. I'm not sure how that happened, it seems like only yesterday she was born. Anyway this is what I made for her this year.
This is the card folded flat for posting. Please excuse my fingers in the photo it was the only way to get it to stay flat because when you let go this is what happens.
It pops up into a 3D house.
This is the back veiw with her name on the roof.
And this is the box I made to send it in.
Hopefully normal Stamin' Up service will be resumed next week and I will show you some more projects I've got planned.
Reminderspaces are filling fast for my All Day Event, if you would like to join us please contact me on or before the 31st March book a place.
Well I'm back again.
Last night I had a table at a Ladies Pamper Evening at The Dorchester Curiosty Centre. They were helping to raise money for Breakthrough for Breast Cancer, a very worthwhile cause to support.
I did remember to take a couple photos of my table before we opened, only cos I saw saw someone else taking photos of their display though.
There were all sorts of stalls there but unfortunately by the time I'd set up I only had time to look at a few. I met some lovely ladies who are interested in coming to my card classes.
Right off to set up for tonight's class. We are using the Need for Speed stamp set to make men's cards.
Don't forget S.A.B. ends on 31st March so if you would like to get a free set you can email me and I will be happy to place an order for you.
When anyone places a Stampin' Up order with me I like to put a little thank you card in with their goodies. This is what I made for this month.
